She has had experience in running puppy preschools, routine and orthopaedic surgery, emergencies and large animal (mainly cattle) farm visits. Sandra is relatively new to the Veterinary industry. Having spent most of her working life in Financial roles, she made the monumental decision to change careers in 2015 and has not looked back! She is enjoying the challenge of learning new things and truly fulfilling her passion in life. Sandra shares her home with her very patient husband, her two pre-teen children, a rescued Jack Russell Terrier called Lolly, a rather elderly cat called Kimba, two adopted guinea pigs and a central bearded dragon called Rango. While not studying and taking care of her young family and menagerie of animals, Sandra also enjoys sewing, re-purposing, re-organising and re-decorating.
Jena Hubbard - Veterinary Nurse
Jena has recently finished her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. Wanting to work with animals has always been a dream and finally achieving what she thought was not possible has encouraged confidence in herself and achieving life goals. She wishes to further her studies in education in both the behaviour of companion animals and into wildlife care. In Jena’s spare time she loves to hang out with her 3 fur babies, Zeena (11year old Domestic Short Hair Tabby), Loki (4year old Groodle), and Juno (2 year old rescue Kelpie Mix). Always finding new ways to provide enrichment to each of her animals fills her time.
Amanda Torrance - Veterinary Nurse
Amanda has always had a love for animals and believes her house is not a home without her fur babies.
Currently, she has three rescue cats: A naughty tortoiseshell Devon Rex cross, a chilled out ginger Domestic long hair, and a hyperactive chocolate-point Ragdoll kitten - Who all love to snuggle up on the couch every night. Amanda's tribe was first established when she adopted Sergeant, a rescue, who is a beautiful Belgium Malinois cross German Shepherd - His extremely energetic personality always keeps her on her toes.
Amanda loves to continue her studies when not at work and is set to complete her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing by the end of 2019!
"My cat was hit by a car in front of our house last week. I rushed to the nearest vet, and even though I was not a client they took us in straight away. Sadly, he did not make it, but the staff were so lovely and gave me time and space to say my goodbyes. This week we received a lovely card from them in the mail. I will certainly be visiting this vet again when we get our next pet".
"Fantastic service, at Vetlove every vet we have seen has been great with our cat and now our new puppy! The little puppy goodie bag is adorable, she is chewing on the new toy now".

"The staff here are wonderful and they always seem to be able to fit us in when we have an emergency. Even Oscar and Rory don't seem to mind it (our cats)! Highly recommended."
"VetLove are wonderful, professional, loving care of my friends dog who sustained a nasty dog bite. The procedure fully explained, happy outcome after surgical procedure, after care explained in lay mans terms, cost very reasonable. Throughly recommend this wonderful vet practice. Also noticed how happy staff interact with each other, pet owners and our precious fur babies."
"My little girl Cinnamon very sadly, after putting up a good fight, didn't make it.Simon was her main vet while I also saw Lauren once. The day that I knew it was time to let my little girl go vet Lauren and Mallika were so respectful. Lauren was kind, empathetic, honest, gentle and allowed as much time as I needed to say goodbye. Thankyou".

We had to take our precious Burmese there and they could not have been more loving and caring as was quite a heartbreaking ordeal and lots of decisions to be made. very patient and thorough explaining everything to us several times and no judgment at all. Helped keep costs low whilst giving our baby the best treatment. Thank you so very much. see you in a week for a check up - 5 STARS most definitely!Coco and Latte our Burmese mummy and daughter"

"Thank you all at Vetlove so much for helping Little Bikkie with her laceration. She loved each and every one of you, and I do too! You are all so amazing and helpful and friendly and our little pickle will see you soon. Thank you!"
"This clinic has such welcoming and personable staff. They are very thorough with all of their examinations and has an obvious love of animals no matter how big or small. I had a German Shepherd puppy with an abnormal gait and a Russian Blue cat with plaque on his teeth. Despite the variances in conditions, both of my animals were treated with an equal amount of love and kindness from all the staff. 6 months on, my not so little puppy has a near to perfect gait and my feline prince has nice pearly whites again. All fees are charged at reasonable rates with the convenience of a regional location".
