Dr Ali has been in the veterinary industry since 2002 where she started as a veterinary nurse and then proceeded to become a veterinarian graduating from the University of Queensland in 2011. Her undergraduate degree wasn’t enough, so she went on to complete a post graduate course in small animal medicine. From here her passion has turned into surgery and is currently enrolled in a two year graduate certificate program to become an accredited small animal general practice surgeon. At the same time her goal is to also obtain her memberships in this field. When she is not running our boutique hospital, mentoring staff and studying she also trains and competes her horse in the equestrian discipline called showjumping. Her other personal loves are spending time with her husband Tim, family, dog’s Abbie and Tyson, horses Dusty and Jacko and chickens Thelma and Louise.

"My cat was hit by a car in front of our house last week. I rushed to the nearest vet, and even though I was not a client they took us in straight away. Sadly, he did not make it, but the staff were so lovely and gave me time and space to say my goodbyes. This week we received a lovely card from them in the mail. I will certainly be visiting this vet again when we get our next pet".

"Thank you all at Vetlove so much for helping Little Bikkie with her laceration. She loved each and every one of you, and I do too! You are all so amazing and helpful and friendly and our little pickle will see you soon. Thank you!"
"This clinic has such welcoming and personable staff. They are very thorough with all of their examinations and has an obvious love of animals no matter how big or small. I had a German Shepherd puppy with an abnormal gait and a Russian Blue cat with plaque on his teeth. Despite the variances in conditions, both of my animals were treated with an equal amount of love and kindness from all the staff. 6 months on, my not so little puppy has a near to perfect gait and my feline prince has nice pearly whites again. All fees are charged at reasonable rates with the convenience of a regional location".
